# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Ready in 20 minutes but tastes like you spent all morning on it.
  • The contrast between crispy bacon and fresh vegetables hits different than you'd expect.
  • It's the kind of lunch that makes you feel genuinely satisfied, not just full.
02 -
  • Toast the bread first, every time; cold bread just tastes thin and sad compared to the crispy warmth that holds everything together.
  • The moment your tomato hits warm toast, a clock starts ticking—you have maybe five minutes before sogginess wins, so build and eat quickly.
03 -
  • Mayo on warm toast is better than mayo on cold bread—apply it while the toast is still hot enough that it spreads like butter.
  • Pat your tomato slices dry with a paper towel before assembling to minimize the sogginess that comes from excess juice.
